Your Dollar Goes Further Than You Think

We know the exchange rate is part of the conversation. That’s why we’ve built a stay where the little things are included with your stay. No surprise charges at breakfast. No shuttle fees. No parking meters in the lot. Just a warm Montana welcome and more value in every night.

With breakfast, parking, and shuttle included plus 15% off your room (2-night minimum required) many of our Canadian guests tell us the total trip cost is much cheaper than staying at a resort town hotel in Banff or Canmore. Except here Glacier National Park is 30 minutes away. (Sunday thru Thursdays only, valid on stays now through June 25, 2026.)

Two Parks. Two Countries.
One Unforgettable Trip

The Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park is one of the world’s great natural treasures. Our local UNESCO World Heritage Site spans the border and celebrates the friendship between our two countries. Glacier International Lodge sits right at the heart of it, just 30 minutes from Glacier National Park’s West Entrance and an easy day trip from Waterton Lakes on the Alberta side.

2026 is a remarkable year to visit. For the first time since 2020, Glacier National Park has eliminated vehicle reservation requirements. That means no advance permits and no lottery stress. Just load up the car  and head south. Going-to-the-Sun Road, one of America’s most iconic scenic drives, is yours to explore at your own pace.

Everything Your Family Needs After the Drive

You’ve been on the road. The kids need to burn energy. You need to exhale. Here’s what’s waiting:

Indoor Pool with Waterslide

Open 7 AM – 9 PM daily, with an adults-only hour from 8 – 9 PM. One of the only waterslides in the Kalispell hotel market. It’s the primary reason kids start asking “are we there yet?” (sorry not sorry) about two hours early. The heated indoor pool and hot tub mean this is a year-round draw, rain or shine, snow or sun.

Full Hot Breakfast

This is not a continental breakfast with a muffin and a prayer. We’re talking eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, oatmeal, fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt, and pastries. Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 9:30 AM, weekends from 6 AM to 10:30 AM. For a family of four, that’s $60–$100 a day you’re not spending somewhere else.

Corporate training seminar or event in progress inside Heaven's Peak at Glacier International Lodge, Kalispell, MT

The Grizzly Merc

Our on-site convenience market stocks local Montana craft beer, wine, champagne, sandwiches, burritos, pizza, microwavable dinners, ice cream, and Glacier National Park souvenirs. No need to hunt down a grocery store after a long day on the trails; everything you need is steps from your room.

Complimentary freshly baked cookies displayed at the afternoon lobby cookie and coffee bar at Glacier International Lodge, Kalispell MT

Two-Story Stone Fireplace Lobby

Fresh cookies, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate every afternoon. Montana-made custom furnishings and nature-inspired artwork. This is where the day ends: settling into an armchair by the fire while the kids recap which trail was the best. It’s the kind of moment you can’t get at a chain hotel.

Fire Pit Patio

Mountain views of the Swan Range and Glacier peaks. The fire pit lights up in the evening, and on a clear night, you can see more stars than most Canadians get to see in a year. Bring a craft beer from The Grizzly Merc and settle in.

Glacier Adventure Kit

Add a Glacier Kit at checkout: bear spray, a trail map, water bottles, and trail mix. Everything a first-time Glacier visitor needs to hit the trails prepared and confident. Especially popular with families who want to be adventure-ready without a shopping detour.
