2026 is a remarkable year to visit. For the first time since 2020, Glacier National Park has eliminated vehicle reservation requirements. That means no advance permits and no lottery stress. Just load up the car and head south. Going-to-the-Sun Road, one of Americaâs most iconic scenic drives, is yours to explore at your own pace.

Youâve been on the road. The kids need to burn energy. You need to exhale. Hereâs whatâs waiting:
Indoor Pool with Waterslide
Open 7 AM â 9 PM daily, with an adults-only hour from 8 â 9 PM. One of the only waterslides in the Kalispell hotel market. Itâs the primary reason kids start asking âare we there yet?â (sorry not sorry) about two hours early. The heated indoor pool and hot tub mean this is a year-round draw, rain or shine, snow or sun.
Full Hot Breakfast
This is not a continental breakfast with a muffin and a prayer. Weâre talking eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, oatmeal, fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt, and pastries. Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 9:30 AM, weekends from 6 AM to 10:30 AM. For a family of four, thatâs $60â$100 a day youâre not spending somewhere else.
The Grizzly Merc
Our on-site convenience market stocks local Montana craft beer, wine, champagne, sandwiches, burritos, pizza, microwavable dinners, ice cream, and Glacier National Park souvenirs. No need to hunt down a grocery store after a long day on the trails; everything you need is steps from your room.
Two-Story Stone Fireplace Lobby
Fresh cookies, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate every afternoon. Montana-made custom furnishings and nature-inspired artwork. This is where the day ends: settling into an armchair by the fire while the kids recap which trail was the best. Itâs the kind of moment you canât get at a chain hotel.
