Rent a mountain bike and hit the slopes of Whitefish Mountain Resort, visit the world-class Legacy Bike Park or take a leisurely pedal along the historic Rails to Trails pathway to Flathead Lake. 

Flathead Lake, one of many lakes in the area, is the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi River! It even has its own legendary lake monster, but you could settle for landing a monster fish on a guided charter. If monster hunting isn’t your thing you can cruise the lake on a pontoon boat, try your hand at water skiing, or paddle around the shores of all six Flathead Lake State Park Units. Boat rentals can be booked in Big Arm, Bigfork, or Lakeside. Paddle boarding or kayaking/canoeing around the shores.
